All our guides are certified in CPR and First Aid and hold a Wilderness Guide permit with the National Park. They typically have their own specialties and advanced degrees, but they continually enhance their knowledge through courses at the Desert Institute and other continuing education programs.
Our guides are well-versed in the flora, fauna, geology, and cultural history of the area, making each tour feel like a journey with a friendly, knowledgeable professor. They bring both humor and expertise, ensuring an engaging and informative experience.

Our fleet features the iconic H1 Hummer, also known as the Humvee, which replaced the Jeep for its superior performance and durability. These vehicles boast four drive trains and independent suspensions, ensuring a smooth and powerful ride over the most challenging terrains.
We have the largest fleet of civilian-owned Hummers on the West Coast, meticulously maintained and regularly updated. Each vehicle undergoes a comprehensive rebuild and replacement every five years, ensuring peak performance and reliability.
In our commitment to environmental responsibility, we have converted our engines to cleaner options and are actively working on introducing a fleet of E-Hummers. Our vehicles are not only rugged and reliable but also designed for comfort. With large bench seats and ample legroom, you can enjoy the ride without bumping knees. The great canopy provides fresh air and a perfect view of the surroundings.

“This is the BEST TOUR I’ve ever been on! Eddie, our tour guide was super knowledgeable and helpful.
I had a hard time climbing some of the rocks but he held my hand and encouraged me, helping me get up there.
There was also a lady in our group that was petrified of bees, and Eddie made sure she was safe and taken care of the whole entire time.
I learned so much in this tour, not only about Joshua Trees but also the history at Yucca Valley and the surrounding areas.
The tour was fun and informative and I didn’t want it to end!
