Park Highlights:
Our guided tour takes you to the park’s most breathtaking and often-overlooked spots. Stand on the edge of the North American plate and take in a view that stretches for hundreds of miles across the desert to Mexico. Explore one of the park’s most iconic locations, known worldwide for its massive, photogenic boulders.

We start our journey from leaving the historic area of Yucca Valley that is the gateway to Joshua Trees  Mojave Desert. We then visit Cap Rock for a walk around an area the cowboy Johnny Lang struck gold. Here an awe inspiring rock balances harmoniously on epic blocks of granite.

Don’t be surprised if you see rock climbers dangling over the immense rock formations known as Inslebergs

Optional Walks:

We stop for optional walks on your tour. One stop is about 1 mile through Hidden Valley. It is filled with off-shooting canyons snake off to careless walkers who get lost. . Here we visit some amazing “Monzo Granite” formations over 20 million years old as well as the legendary Joshua Trees.

If you can’t walk a mile, NO WORRIES. Half of our guests usually like to lag behind and simply soak in the quietude and beauty of the place. Benches are all around and don’t be afraid to just explore.

But, be back before your Hummer leaves as we then go to one of the most breathtaking overlooks for our final stop. Sitting at nearly the height of the rim of the Grand Canyon from it’s bottom, you will come to a viewpoint for your final photos and to stretch your legs.

On a clear day you can see all the way to the Salton Sea and even to Mexico!

Geology:
Our knowledgeable guides are experts in the geological history of this ancient landscape. Learn how the San Andreas Fault played a crucial role in shaping the park’s dramatic scenery.

Sit Back and Enjoy:
Relax and let us handle the driving as you fully immerse yourself in the beauty of Joshua Tree National Park. Our guided tours take you to the most stunning spots, allowing you to simply enjoy the scenery.
