Yes. The only difference between the two is the existence of an air-conditioner or heater in the enclosed Hummers, which makes them ideal for extreme weather. Both Hummers visit the same locations, offering the same photo opportunities and experiences. Please note that open-air Hummer tours are not offered from December to February.
The new Backcountry Fee is a requirement by the national park system and is not included in your general admission with us. Guests are responsible for purchasing their own pedestrian passes at recreation.gov. The cost is $15 per person and allows re-entry into the park for up to 7 days.
Guests with an America the Beautiful Pass or a Joshua Tree Annual Pass can use these passes for admission for up to 4 adults. Children under 15 do not require a pedestrian pass.
Please have your tickets ready before your tour.

As we are restricted in the number of people we are permitted to take into the park daily, we are typically soldout with waiting lists. During peak seasons, demand is especially high, and tickets sell out quickly. We recommend booking your tour in advance to secure your spot. Full refunds are available if cancellations are made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled tour.
Due to the high elevations in Joshua Tree, you can expect temperatures to be 20 to 30 degrees cooler than in Palm Springs. Mornings and evenings are often cool, while midday temperatures can get quite warm, even in winter months. In summer, the park can provide relief from the extreme heat in Palm Springs. It is always recommended to check weather in advance but to come prepared with layered clothing.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes for our optional walks of about 1 mile total. Also, remember to wear layered clothing, as temperatures could change 20 to 30 degrees during our journey. Don’t dress in shorts in the winter.
We do not offer pickups at individual hotels or homes for our public tours. We do offer this as a service on our private tours.
We provide water, snacks, general admission park entrance fees, an expert guide, and a comfortable touring experience that will be the best memory of your vacation. We will make it an adventure!
